Neglected by the city government and dismissed by the citizens, Darkwood has essentially been left to fend for itself while being surrounded by wealth. Despite the closure of businesses and rise in crime, the Darkwood area had a relatively large population from its boom in the 70’s that it also found itself unable to support.

With the sudden disappearance of Satchel in the mid 90’s most of the funds for the district dried up as it was unable to support itself.
